The loyalty programmes of Airlink and Qatar Airways will align closer, offering more benefits to their members.

Following on from the Airlink and Qatar Airways’ partnership announced last year when Qatar Airways took a 25% stake in South Africa’s privately owned Airlink, the airlines will further the integration of their airline loyalty programmes.
AIRLINK, QATAR LOYALTY PROGRAMMES ALIGNMENT
When airlines form partnerships it is important to align their operations, enabling passengers and frequent flyers to make use of services and benefits offered by both airlines.
Hence the airlines in a partnership generally also align their loyalty programmes when they carry out the integration processes.
Airlink’s loyalty programme, Skybucks, now offers improved alignment with Qatar’s Privilege Club – meaning more benefits for loyal passengers and frequent flyers.

Members of Airlink’s Skybucks programme are currently able to earn Skybucks when travelling on flights operated by both Airlink and Qatar Airways.
At present, they are able to spend their Skybucks on Airlink flights – as well as to cover additional services offered by the carrier.
However, in the near future it will also be possible for Skybucks members to spend Skybucks on flights operated by Qatar Airways.
