The Riversong is once again plying the mighty Zambezi River, offering the ultimate in luxury – for guests wishing to enjoy Zimbabwe’s natural landscape and wildlife from the water.

THE RIVERSONG: REFURBISHED BOAT

The Riversong, owned by Shearwater, is used to operate cruises on the Zambezi River.

However, these cruises are a cut above anything else on the river.

The double-level vessel has come back from a refurb, looking like new.

Comfortable new seating and calming colours complement the revamped interior.

The tasteful new décor resembles what one might find at a luxury hotel.

The Riversong offers guests the ultimate luxury with unparalleled views of the river and surrounding landscape.

This is in addition to renowned Zimbabwean hospitality.

UNRIVALLED HOSPITALITY

On arrival, guests receive a refreshing cold towel service.

The Riversong’s management team presents safety instructions and housekeeping rules before the boat sets sail.

An onboard hostess ensures that guests are never without ice-cold beverages and something to snack on.

While floating downstream, guests are served delightful hors d’oeuvres.

Three “courses” or plates are offered during the cruise.

Each course is attractively plated – making you want more!

WILDLIFE SIGHTING

Sailing along the Zambezi, The Riversong is flanked by national parks on both sides of the boat – one on the Zimbabwe side and the other on the Zambian side.

While drifting slowly down the river you can spot wildlife in the water and on land.

It is possible to see elephants and hippos both in and out of the water.

Crocodiles and huge monitor lizards are also common sightings.

There is also an abundance of birdlife in the area.

THE RIVERSONG: A TRIP TO REMEMBER

The trip ends just after sunset – providing guests with spectacular views of the river and the palm trees, silhouetted against the fading light.

This river cruise really is something for the bucket list. The panoramic views will make the experience one you will remember.

Cruises include a full bar service and a three-course meal comprising finger foods.

This is definitely something you must try at least once!
