THE ERA OF LUXURY TRAVEL

The new First Class seat epitomises refined luxury.

In some ways, this new product reminds one of bygone days.

This was when flying on aircraft such as the Concorde was symbolic of pure luxury and sophistication.

“Our new First has been designed with ultimate customer comfort in mind and pays tribute to the iconic British Airways brand and heritage, including a number of elements taking inspiration from Concorde and its one-of-a-kind wing,” the airline says.

NEW BRITISH AIRWAYS FIRST CLASS SEAT

This new First Class seat will feature :

*an ultra-wide seat (36.5 inches) with a bed length of 79 inches
*multi-purpose Ottoman-styled seat and elegant stowable table
*a 32-inch 4K TV screen
*cocooned 60-inch curved wall
*adjustable mood lighting

AIRBUS A380 AIRCRAFT

This new product will be available exclusively on British Airways’ Airbus A380 aircraft.

This means that routes where the Airbus A380 is deployed can expect to see the new British Airways First Class seat.

It is not known whether the First Class will be located on the upper or lower deck of the Airbus A380 aircraft.

According to The Points Guy, there will be either 12 or 14 seats in the First Class cabin.

The full aircraft cabin layout is believed to offer 12 or 14  First, 110 Club Suite, 84 World Traveller Plus and 215  World Traveller seats.

The airline will work closely with Collins Aerospace in developing this First Class suite, following on from its involvement in British Airways’ Business Class product.
