Eswatini Air to launch flights to Lusaka, Zambia

Eswatini Air is set to launch scheduled flights between Eswatini (Swaziland) and Lusaka (Zambia).

The airline will add Lusaka to its network from the first of April.

“We are delighted to expand our network to Lusaka as part of our ongoing commitment to improving regional connectivity. This route represents an important step towards our growth strategy, and we look forward to serving both business and leisure travellers between Eswatini, Zimbabwe, Zambia and South Africa,” Eswatini Air said in a press release.

ESWATINI AIR HEADS TO LUSAKA IN ZAMBIA

The route will be offered twice a week. Services will operate on Wednesdays and Fridays.

Lusaka will be operated as a tag-on flight to the carrier’s Harare service. However, this may be expanded in the future.

The airline will monitor passenger traffic and route performance.

GROWING ROUTE NETWORK

Lusaka will be Eswatini Air’s fifth destination, as well as the third country served, in its route network.

The carrier operates scheduled flights from its hub to three destinations in South Africa and one in Zimbabwe.

It flights, using an Embraer fleet, operate out of King Mswati III International Airport in Eswatini to:

OR Tambo International Airport in Johannesburg, South Africa
Cape Town International Airport, South Africa
King Shaka International Airport in Durban, South Africa
Robert Gabriel Mugabe International Airport in Harare, Zimbabwe
