Angola’s privately-owned carrier FlyAngola, has launched a new regional route to Windhoek in Namibia.
The carrier commenced flying between Windhoek (in Namibia) and Benguela (Catumbela Airport) on December 21.
NEW WINDHOEK ROUTE
This new service will be operated three times a week. The non-stop flight takes two hours.
Flights are operated with an Embraer ERJ 145 seating 49 passengers.
“These new flights will revolutionise mobility throughout the region whether for business, health, leisure or visiting friends and family and will certainly bring tourists from the Namibian capital to the most beautiful warm water beaches in the province of Benguela.” said Belarnicio Muangala, FlyAngola CEO.
CONNECTING TO LUANDA
In addition, Muangala also stated that the new direct flight from Windhoek continues onwards to Luanda, thus introducing a new connection between the two capitals.
This therefore enables more alternatives for passengers who need to fly between the two capitals.
FLYANGOLA ROUTES
FlyAngola offers domestic scheduled flights to Lubango, Benguela, Dundo and Saurimo and Cabinda, from its Luanda base.
In addition, Fly Angola also flies to the small island state of Sao Tome, in the Atlantic Ocean.
The airline’s fleet comprises Embraer E145 and Bombardier DHC 8-300 aircraft.
