In April, Norse Atlantic Airways remained at a record-high 95% load factor, an increase of 16 percentage points compared to April 2024.

The airline has continued to grow its route network and scheduled operations.

It has operated on various routes including Montego Bay and Barbados, as well as launching several new ones.

Cape Town was introduced as a seasonal service out of London’s Gatwick Airport during the Northern Hemisphere Winter in 2024.

Flights to Bangkok will also be introduced, out of London Gatwick Airports from late October this year.

NORSE ATLANTIC LOAD FACTORS

Significantly, the load factor in Norse’s own scheduled network was the highest ever at 95%, a Year on Year increase of 19%-points.

(Comparable figures for the same month the previous year are shown in brackets)

  • 95% load factor across own network and ACMI/Charter operations (79%)
  • 95% load factor in own scheduled network (76%)
  • 433 flights in own scheduled network (337)
  • 66 ACMI/charter flights operated (61)
  • 155,813 passengers transported (98,542) across own network and ACMI/charter operations, up 58% YoY
  • 71% of the flights departed within 15 minutes of their scheduled departure time (81%)
  • On-time performance was negatively impacted by Air Traffic Control (ATC) delays and airport congestions

“I’m pleased that for the third consecutive month we reached a record-high 95% load factor across our own scheduled network and chartered flights. We have a good momentum into the upcoming busy summer months, where we will continue to deliver our affordable, value for money product to our customers worldwide.” Bjørn Tore Larsen, CEO, Founder and major shareholder of Norse Atlantic, said.
