According to a recent operational schedule filed by Qantas, Perth Johannesburg flights appear to be back on the airline’s route network.

However, there has not yet been an official announcement confirming the restart by Qantas.
In addition, Qantas looks set to restart its Perth Auckland flights. This will allow convenient connections for passengers travelling between South Africa and New Zealand (via Perth).
Qantas ended seasonal services on its Perth Auckland route in January 2018.
CONNECTIONS BETWEEN SOUTH AFRICA AND NEW ZEALAND
With the restart of Johannesburg – Perth and Perth – Auckland routes, Qantas appears keen to capitalise on some of the lucrative East-West traffic flows between South Africa and New Zealand.
South Africa has sizable expat communities scattered across New Zealand.
That said, there are also a large number of South Africans living in Perth, Western Australia.
Thus, there is significant VFR (Visiting Friends and Relatives) travel between Perth and South Africa as well as New Zealand and South Africa.
