According to Skytrax, Ethiopian Airlines has once again been named ‘Best Airline in Africa’ at the World Airline Awards 2025.
ETHIOPIAN AIRLINES RANKS TOPS IN SKYTRAX 2025 RATINGS
In fact, this marks the 8th consecutive year that the airline has earned the title. However, this is not the only accolade that Ethiopian has received in the World Airline Awards 2025 rankings.
The airline also ranks tops in various other categories in this year’s Skytrax awards ratings. It was named:
– Best Airline in Africa,
– Best Economy Class in Africa,
– Best Business Class in Africa,
– Best Business Class Onboard Catering in Africa.
Ethiopian Airlines has made huge strides on the continent.
It is the carrier with the most extensive route network across Africa. It connects Africa with an ever-growing number of global destinations, via its Addis Ababa hub.
Furthermore, the airline will operate from a new mega airport facilty located near Bishoftu in the near future.
The multibillion dollar facility, whose first phase is expected to be completed in 2029, will become Africa’s largest airport facility. The airport will indeed have four runways once it has been fully completed.
