Johannesburg-based Cemair is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year.

The privately owned South African carrier was founded two decades ago.
CEMAIR COMMEMORATES 20TH ANNIVERSARY
The carrier celebrating this milestone anniversary was formed in January 2005.
It was established with the purpose of operating turboprop commuter aircraft.
Cemair’s initial fleet consisted of a Cessna Grand Caravan aircraft and 3 Beechcraft 1900C aircraft.
However, the airline headed by Miles van der Molen has grown substantially.
From its humble beginnings, CemAir has grown into a key player in South Africa’s aviation landscape.
The privately owned airline now offers both scheduled flight operations as well as aircraft leasing services.
It operates a comprehensive route network, connecting much of South Africa.
