BOOSTING ZAMBIA’S ECONOMY
Zambia’s Minister of Home Affairs and Internal Security, Jack Mwiimbu, announced reforms to Zambia’s policy on December 18.
Mwiimbu said the government is committed to positioning Zambia as a premier destination for tourism, business, and trade.
This move aims to boost tourism, attract foreign investment and position Zambia as an attractive tourist destination.
Through this reform, Zambia aims to double annual international tourist arrivals, targeting three million visitors by 2026.
This optimistic goal aims to improve on Zambia’s 2023 tourist numbers, which exceeded 1.5 million visitors.
