Proflight Zambia will offer scheduled services connecting two key tourist destinations: Cape Town and the Victoria Falls (Livingstone, Zambia) from December.

PROFLIGHT ZAMBIA CAPE TOWN FLIGHTS

The airline will operate two rotations a week on the route.

Flights will be offered on Thursdays and Sundays. The service launches on 1 December.

And, Proflight Zambia says it will also operate additional Saturday flights on this routing during the peak holiday season.

PROFLIGHT ZAMBIA CAPE TOWN FLIGHT SCHEDULE

PO 050 will depart Livingstone at 08.10, and arrive in Cape Town at 11.10.

PO 051 will depart Cape Town at 12.00, and arrive in Livingstone at 14.50.

The route will be operated with a Bombardier CRJ-200 aircraft, seating up to 50 passengers.

These flight numbers are indeed existing ones since Proflight Zambia already operates flights between Lusaka and Cape Town.

The airline has decided to add a stop in Livingstone, on both these outbound and inbound flights.

Thus making Livingstone a convenient direct flight to or from Cape Town.

KENYA AIRWAYS SERVICE

Kenya Airways also offers scheduled flights on this route.

In fact, the airline operates three flights a week between Nairobi and Cape Town.

In addition, these flights have fifth freedom rights, enabling Kenya Airways to stop in Livingstone, to drop off and pick up passengers.

The airline operates this route with either a Boeing 737-800 (seating up to 145 passengers) or an Embraer E190 aircraft (seating up to 96 passengers).

Kenya Airways offers business and economy class cabins on these flights.

PROFLIGHT ZAMBIA

In October, the Lusaka-based airline took delivery of its fifth Bombardier CRJ-200 aircraft.

This has therefore enabled it to scale up operations as well as to introduce new routes.

The privately-owned airline’s route network comprises both domestic and regional flights.

With a history spanning over three decades, Proflight Zambia is indeed Zambia’s largest airline, offering reliable scheduled flights.

It operates a fleet consisting of 50-seater Bombardier CRJ-200 jets and 29-seater Jetstream 41 aircraft.
