Award-winning privately owned Fastjet Zimbabwe will introduce scheduled flights from Harare, to Lusaka in Zambia.

This service connecting the capital cities in both countries will commence on Wednesday 9 April 2025.
Fastjet will operate its Lusaka service three times a week.

The introduction of this route attests to our commitment and contribution to further economic and social development of the Zim-Zam region. For ten years fastjet Zimbabwe has been a proud part of the Zimbabwean community and we are delighted to expand our commitment to Lusaka”. Fastjet Zimbabwe spokesperson Nunurai Ndawana said.
FASTJET LAUNCHES LUSAKA FLIGHTS
The introduction of this new route is significant since it is Fastjet’s first cross-border route into Zambia.
The airline currently offers flights within Zimbabwe and between Zimbabwe and South Africa.
In Zimbabwe, Fastjet flies between Harare, Bulawayo and Victoria Falls.
Then, it operates flights between Johannesburg and Harare, Bulawayo and Victoria Falls as well as between Victoria Falls and Nelspruit (Kruger Mpumalanga).

EMBRAER AIRCRAFT
The value carrier provides exceptional service with its fleet of Embraer Regional Jets.
Fastjet will deploy a 50-seater Embraer ERJ145 aircraft on the Lusaka route.
The aircraft type is known to provide the versatility needed to build a sustainable regional network with the right size capacity while offering comfortable seating with generous legroom.
FLIGHT SCHEDULE
Fastjet will offer convenient flights for leisure and business travellers between the two cities.
“No other airline gives travellers an early morning flight option on this route. Our flight timings are designed to provide both business and leisure passengers with a full day’s activities in their city of arrival.
