Gearing up for the busy year-end holidays, Air Seychelles has added extra flights and frequencies on a number of routes.
The Seychelles is a perennial luxury paradise island getaway, drawing discerning visitors to the pristine island archipelago, moreover, at peak times such as the end of the year.
To cater to the increased visitor numbers, the airline will indeed add extra frequencies on several routes.
AIR SEYCHELLES
Air Seychelles has added a number of seasonal flights as part of its service expansion for the holiday peak, starting in December and ending in the middle of January.
“We’re excited to announce additional flights for the upcoming festive season, allowing passengers even more options for their favourite destinations,” said Air Seychelles Chief Commercial Officer, Charles Johnson.
MORE REGIONAL FLIGHTS
Air Seychelles is preparing to make the island accessible to visitors from regional destinations.
It will add a new Wednesday flight to Mauritius from December 4 to January 1.
The additional flight increases this service to an average of four flights per week.
An extra Saturday flight will be introduced to Johannesburg from December 21 to January 4, also bringing frequencies to four a week on this route.
Flights to Mumbai in India will increase to three a week, with an additional flight operating on Wednesdays, for the period December 18 to January 1.

NEW REUNION FLIGHT
Tourism Update reports that Air Seychelles will also launch a new seasonal flight to the Indian Ocean island of Réunion.
The route will be operated once a week, on a Monday, for the period December 30 to January 18.
“Our new non-stop flights to La Réunion provide significant time savings over previous indirect flight options. As this will be a very busy holiday period, we recommend everyone books flights as soon as possible,” Johnson said.
