FlySafair is holding a flight ticket auction for the purchase of bundles of flight tickets on 31 July.
This FlySafair initiative is set to benefit frequent fliers or passengers who travel in groups.
FLYSAFAIR FLYMORE TICKET AUCTION
The airline is holding its first-ever FlyMore Auction. The event takes place online on 31 July, from at 9 am.
This is where passengers flying in groups stand a chance to pick up a bargain.
FLYSAFAIR R 10 FLIGHT SALE
Earlier this year, on 8 May, FlySafair ran its bargain R 10 flight sale. But, only a number of R 10 tickets were available.
Thus, many people were not able to get their hands on the budget airline’s bargain tickets.
Scores of buyers also waited in the airline’s online waiting room for the entire day, to be let into the FlySafair booking site, to find bargain flight tickets.
However, many came away empty-handed as the sale closed when the R10 tickets were sold out.

FLYSAFAIR FLIGHT TICKET AUCTION
This flight ticket auction is where passengers will get the chance to bid on bundles of 10 one-way domestic flights (Lite Fare only) operated by FlySafair. Lite Fares exclude baggage.
These bundles will be released throughout the day. This offer allows passengers to buy flights in bulk.
This is ideal for those travelling in groups or frequent flyers. However, tickets are only valid for the airline’s domestic routings.
This year, FlySafair launched scheduled services between the Kruger and Cape Town. And, it will soon commence flights between Johannesburg and the Kruger.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
As with all special deals, there are terms and conditions. Tickets bought on the FlyMore auction are also subject to Ts and Cs.
- Date: Wednesday 31 July 2024.
- Time: starts at 9 am and bundles will be released throughout the day.
- Each lot consists of 10 tokens which can indeed be redeemed against one-way domestic flights ( Lite Fares ).
- The floor price for each bundle is R9000.
- The highest bidder wins the lot.
- Tokens can in fact be redeemed for flights departing from 1st of August.
- Tokens need to be redeemed against flights within 12 months from purchase.
- A token includes a Lite Fare flight and VAT but excludes airport taxes and any optional extras which are not included in the Lite Fare.
