LOW-COST FLIGHTS FROM LANSERIA

FlySafair’s budget flights between Lanseria Airport and other cities in South Africa are popular with residents of both Pretoria and Johannesburg’s northern suburbs since the airport is sandwiched between northern Johannesburg and Pretoria.

Lanseria is in fact an international airport. It handles scheduled domestic operations (FlySafair flights) as well as charter flights for various operators.

Currently, FlySafair offers scheduled flights from Lanseria Airport to Durban and Cape Town and George.

Cape Town and Durban flights have indeed operated for quite some time but George was reintroduced earlier this year.

That said, the budget carrier also operates a large domestic and regional flight schedule from its hub at Johannesburg’s O.R. Tambo International Airport.

With its Boeing 737 fleet, FlySafair flies from O.R Tambo International Airport to Durban, Cape Town, Nelspruit, Bloemfontein, East London, Port Elizabeth, George, Harare, Victoria Falls, Mauritius and Zanzibar.
