Lift Airline New Crew Uniforms

To celebrate five years of Lift, its crew are stepping onboard in brand-new uniforms designed with KARMA Clothing.

KARMA is a proudly South African brand. It is in fact a women-led business.

While crew will sport new uniforms, the footwear worn by its crew will not change.

Crew will still sport their practical and comfy sneakers.

Fresh Ideas for Newcomer

Lift launched service in December 2020, during the Covid-19 pandemic, when air travel faced challenges.

Since its launch in December 2020, the independently-owned airline has become a reliable and trusted brand in South Africa.

The carrier is known for doing things differently. It operates a low-cost model with a difference.

Innovative Airline

Passengers can cancel their Lift flights and refund the value of their flight up to 24 hours before departure, for future use.

Besides this flexibility, Lift provides more value for money.

It serves complimentary snacks and beverages to all passengers on its flights.

The airline also surprises passengers with impromptu inflight events including fashion shows, concerts, album launches and more.

It was also the first carrier in South Africa to allow pets to fly in the aircraft cabin with their owners.

While Lift launched service with Cape Town – Johannesburg flights, the airline expanded its routes to include Johannesburg – Durban services in 2022.

Completing South Africa’s Golden Triangle, the airline also operates flights between Durban and Cape Town.

There are also plans in the pipelines for Lift to expand operations outside of South Africa.
