Lufthansa officially introduced its state-of-the-art Allegris cabin seating on flights to Cape Town. This marks a significant milestone for individual and premium travel experiences to and from South Africa.
The inaugural flight offering Allegris cabin seating, an Airbus A350-900, touched down in Cape Town on 27 October.

Furthermore, it underscores the city’s growing reputation as a sought-after destination for both tourism and business.
Under the name “Lufthansa Allegris”, a completely new travel experience is being created on long-haul routes.
All Lufthansa travel classes from Economy to Premium Economy, Business and First Class are being given a new top product that is unparalleled in the market thanks to the variety of seats.
SERVICE ENHANCEMENTS
The Lufthansa Group is investing 2.5 billion euros world-wide in product and service improvements by 2025.estments to date.
By offering Allegris cabins on its Cape Town – Munich flights, Lufthansa also expects to attract more tourists and business travellers seeking high-end cabin products.

FIRST AFRICAN ROUTE WITH NEW ALLEGRIS CABIN SEATING
It is in fact, the first African route where this new cabin design is offered.

Rene Koinzack, Lufthansa’s Senior Director of Sales: Southern & East Africa, Nigeria, and Equatorial Guinea, emphasised how this introduction enhances Cape Town’s appeal.

With the winter schedule, that just started today, we will increase our connections for both leisure and business travellers per week from 15 to 17, operated by Lufthansa, SWISS and Edelweiss.
