With over 240 weekly flights and 2.67M ASMs, the airline operates a network across Zambia and Southern Africa.

PROFLIGHT ZAMBIA ADDS CRJ AIRCRAFT

In fact, this is the seventh CRJ aircraft to enter Proflight Zambia’s fleet since 2014. The narrowbody jet is indeed the right-sized aircraft for many of Proflight Zambia’s services.

The privately owned airline offers scheduled services to various destinations within Zambia as well as between Zambia and cross-border destinations in the region.

From its Lusaka hub, Proflight Zambia caters to business and leisure travellers with flights to Mansa, Kasama, Mfuwe, Ndola, Solwezi, Kalumbila, and Livingstone.

Outside of Zambia’s borders the airline flies to Johannesburg and Cape Town, in South Africa.

A JOURNEY TO LUSAKA

The CRJ arrived at Lusaka’s Kenneth Kaunda International Airport on 23 June, after making its way to Africa from Montana. It was previously in service with Connect Airlines.

The aircraft left Great Falls, Montana, on 21 June, travelling through Goose Bay, Canada; Reykjavik, Iceland; Prague, Czech Republic; Luxor, Egypt and Nairobi, Kenya; before touching down in the Zambian capital, where it will operate scheduled services with Proflight Zambia.

The aircraft, currently registered in America as N8884E, will be registered in Zambia as 9J-PFF. The Bombardier CRJ-200LR will undergo various checks and maintenance procedures before taking to the skies with Proflight Zambia.

The airline aims to have the aircraft in service by 31st July.
