Today Uganda Airlines operates its inaugural flight on another new triangular route.
Uganda Airlines adds two more destinations to its route network, with one flight.
TWO NEW UGANDA AIRLINES DESTINATIONS
Ugandan, also known as The Crane flying to the Pearl of Africa, adds Harare (Zimbabwe) and Lusaka (Zambia) to its route network on Wednesday 25 September.
The new service is expected to boost trade, tourism and diplomatic relations between Uganda and both Zimbabwe and Zambia.
This is the first time Uganda Airlines has offered flights to Harare and Lusaka. These cities become Uganda Airlines’ fifteenth and sixteenth destinations.
TRIANGULAR FLIGHT SCHEDULE
Flights are operated using a narrowbody aircraft, four times a week, from Entebbe.
Dates of operation are Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.
On Mondays and Wednesdays the flight stops first in Lusaka, before continuing to Harare. But on Thursdays and Saturdays, the flight stops first in Harare, before continuing to Lusaka.
This service is operated as a triangular route, with either Lusaka or Harare being served as a tag-on flight from each other (dependent on the day). The aircraft then returns directly to Entebbe.
Uganda Airlines will operate a two-class Bombardier CRJ900 (Canadair Regional Jet 900) aircraft seating up to 84 passengers on the route.
The aircraft is configured with Business Class and Economy Class cabins. The Business Class offers 2×1 seating, while Economy Class offers 2×2 seating.
