Air Botswana’s new flights to connect key tourist destinations

Air Botswana has announced the launch of several new routes, linking key tourist destinations in the region.

The airline will progressively start to operate a series of new services to key tourist hotspots in Southern Africa.

These new routes stand to benefit the tourist sectors of Botswana and the surrounding countries by enabling direct connectivity.

AIR BOTSWANA FLIGHTS TO VARIOUS TOURIST DESTINATIONS

The airline will be launching services to the ever-popular city of Cape Town, Windhoek and Mbombela (near the Kruger National Park).   

These routes have not been offered before, by Air Botswana.

CONNECTING CAPE TOWN  

Air Botswana will begin Cape Town services from both Maun and Kasane.

These services begin on 1 November, enabling travellers to get directly from South Africa’s magnificent Mother City to Botswana’s Okavango Delta and Chobe Game Reserve.

The routes will be operated three times a week.

CONNECTING CHOBE AND KRUGER

Air Botswana will start direct flights between Kasane and Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport in Mbombela, offering convenient access to the Kruger region.

The service will therefore enable seamless connectivity between Chobe National Park (in Botswana) and the Kruger National Park (in South Africa).

This route begins on 1 November. It will also be operated three times a week.

CONNECTING WINDHOEK

Starting 1 November, Air Botswana will open up two new services to Windhoek in Namibia.

The airline will fly from both Kasane and Maun to the Namibian capital. Thus, opening up possibilities for travellers to visit many tourist hotspots in Namibia, the country boasting the Namib Desert – the world’s oldest desert.

These routes will commence on 1 November and will be operated three times each week.

AIR BOTSWANA CONNECTS TOURIST DESTINATIONS

Air Botswana will thus connect key tourist destinations in Southern Africa, enabling increased tourist flows in the region.

The route expansion is indeed made possible by the airline acquiring three additional aircraft.
