Air Seychelles, the national airline of the Republic of Seychelles, has begun commercial operations to Abu Dhabi in the Middle East.
AIR SEYCHELLES INTRODUCES ABU DHABI SERVICE
The inaugural flight HM19, from Abu Dhabi, arrived in the Seychelles at 12.35 on Saturday, 24th May 2025 with 157 passengers onboard.
HM19’s arrival was marked by a traditional water cannon salute. The aircraft was welcomed by dignitaries, government representatives and travel trade partners.
Operated by the airline’s Airbus A320 aircraft, the flight was commanded by Captain Rajesh Nair and First Officer, Samuel Lautee.
Air Seychelles’ CEO, Sandy Benoiton, said, “This achievement signifies more than just the return of a route; it represents our renewed commitment to connecting Seychelles with key international markets, opening new horizons for our travellers, and supporting our economy through increased tourism and business opportunities. MIDDLE EAST CONNECTION
This inaugural flight marks the start of a six-weekly, direct service to the Middle East. Thus providing local travellers with an additional destination to explore.

HM19 is scheduled to depart Abu Dhabi at 0750 hrs to arrive into Seychelles at 1225 hrs
To Abu Dhabi:
HM18 is scheduled to depart Seychelles at 2030 hrs, arriving into Abu Dhabi at 0105 hrs.
This service operates daily, excluding Thursdays.
To Seychelles:
HM19 is scheduled to depart Abu Dhabi at 0750 hrs, arriving into Seychelles at 1225 hrs.
This service operates daily, excluding Fridays.
