TAAG Angola Airlines ramps up African flights

TAAG Angola Airlines has increased the number of flights it offers on various African routes.

Starting 1 May the airline increased frequencies to five African cities.

TAAG ANGOLA AIRLINES INCREASES AFRICAN FLIGHTS

TAAG now operates ten weekly flights between Luanda and Cape Town. There are double daily flights on selected days and scheduled flights on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays.

The airline has also increased its weekly services to Johannesburg to nine. The route now has two daily flights on Thursdays and Saturdays.

From 1 June TAAG will fly to Maputo five times a week, offering improved connections between Luanda and Maputo as well as expanding connections for passengers heading to Brazil.

TAAG’s services to Kinshasa and Brazzaville have also been increased to three flights per week. New departure times for these services also enable improved connectivity. Flights now depart Luanda at 22.00.

IMPROVED CONNECTIVITY TO BRAZIL

TAAG is an airline of choice for many passengers flying between Africa and South America.

Through these additions and schedule changes TAAG aims to strengthen regional connectivity with a focus on strategic markets that are connected with Brazil.

The airline aims to provide improved connectivity for passengers travelling between Brazil and several African capitals.

TAAG offers connections to eight African destinations from Luanda.

These include: Cape Town and Johannesburg (South Africa), São Tomé (São Tomé and Príncipe), Windhoek (Namibia), Maputo (Mozambique), Kinshasa (Democratic Republic of the Congo), Brazzaville (Republic of the Congo) and Lagos (Nigeria).
